i finally created a public blog.

What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Learned to save more, answered calls from US, worked night shift, caught butterflies! Took pictures as much as I could. Well, I did a lot of things the first time this year heheh...
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept most of them. But I know one I didn't, I promised not to drink beer/softdrinks/vodka,etc just like how Imanaged it last 2003,hell, I couldn’t help it!
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yup, Mafil!2nd baby boy!
Did anyone close to you die?
My uncle, he was brutally killed, I missed him so much. I lost a defender.
My grandmother, mom of my Dad, she died few days after my uncle. And I knew it very late coz my family didn’t want me to grieve twice. Yet still.
What countries did you visit?
None this year.
What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Keep myself on track. More sleep heheh.
What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
When my uncle got killed. Its a horrible experience, all of us in the family were so depressed. He was my only uncle who
never judged me during the times everyone
misunderstood me.
When my aunt (long partner of my uncle)miscarriage the 3month old baby. I was too excited to put his/her name under mine.
The day I went back to Batangas,a small town where I was born. It's been about 12years! I missed the conversation with my grandfather there, the old stories. And the most touching, I met all my childhood friends I could barely remember! Rose, one of them showed the doll I gave to her.hehehe, oh man, now I know I really give my property when favored.
Caught butterflies in Puerto Azul with Taka & Rolly. I wont forget it since it got me a lot of bruises heheh.
And of course, when I saw Dad again, haven’t met him for 16years!And when I met relatives/friends/new friends/artists I least expected.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
T`was when I learned to be more independent & confident. Courageously got a job in a place where I'm a stranger.
What was your biggest failure?
Not to be able to decide right away. But most people would say there's nothing to rush for.
When I failed to give more love.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
No really, but I believe I was never been healthier this year, good I didn’t suffer any illness though.
What was the best thing you bought?
My slippers. Hehe, I feel so relaxed and free whenever I wear it. Perhaps, I can’t remember I bought one before in my life!
Whose behavior merited celebration?
Me.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Ate sweet, my cousin. I hated her for a while. But I forgave her. But she still don’t pay attention though.
Those men who killed my uncle, may your conscience lambaste you!
Where did most of your money go?
Bills.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
A lot of exciting things came to my way this year! Too many to mention and I'm waiting positively for 2007!

Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? -- happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? -- I gained a kilo so far, still its not counterbalanced with my height. But wow,I noticed my muscles getting more huge!=)
iii. richer or poorer? -- Richer! Because I'm earning.
What do you wish you'd done more?
I should have got enough sleep! Travel. Read. Write. Paint. Listen to music. Love.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Hate. Judge.

I haven’t watch any program this year. I don’t have television in my apartment heheh.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I believe no.
What was the best book you read?
Inheritance by Judith Michael, gosh it influenced me a lot! The Prodigal Daughter by Jeffrey Archer. And Zen reader by Thomas Cleary.
What was your greatest musical discovery?
Haley Westenra. Nelly Furtado.
What did you want and get?
Work in a big company regardless of having no degree yet.

What was your favorite film of this year?
Honestly, nothing, I didn't watch a lot of movies this year as I used to since my schedule's hectic. Oh, there's one, Step.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 22, I think its special co'z its Friday the 13th. I had one week long of celebration, I was with my committed bestfriend Ej & Rolly. I received a ton of surprises! One was I met Kris Lawrence, Ej's idea. Its great if you have connections in the entertainment world hehe.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I don't know. I don't control things, man!
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Sleeveless+flip-flops=careless & free! It shows off more arms` skin which make people notice that I gained weight! Ooohhh, I'm loving it!
What kept you sane?
Art. Photography. And walking about 1340(I counted it since I don't know how long if it's in kilometers, heheh) steps a day.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Penelope Cruz. Why? Ask me in person:-p
What political issue stirred you the most?
Charter Change.
Who did you miss?
My family in Davao. My grandparent. My brother, Paul. My siblings. My uncle and other relatives who passed away.
Who was the best new person you met?
A lot. My co-workers. Taka, my mentor, and
if God permits, my soon-to-be-business-partner. And Chinee, who will become an official lawyer next year, I believe!
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:That I could make things happen even how impossible it is.
I learned to forgive, to be more confident and brave.
Keeping my words, if I want to struggle, I would.
What was the nicest thing someone told you about yourself:
A lot of people said I'm interesting and wise,that they believe in my capabilities, and that they love chatting with me even for a short time. I've chosen few of the many famous lines I got from people I hardly knew:
Tita(from the carinderia where I usually eat): I hope I could have a daughter-in-law like you coz you have a good heart.(ahem)
Chinee: I believe I could read personalities and I see that you are very kind. But you'll really get mad if people would do something against you.(hehe, I haven't experience the last lines yet though)
Chuchay: You're the only person I talked to who's curly, I don't like curly-haired people coz they're hard to understand, but you're different.(no comment hehe)
The most touching experience you've had this year?
When I made people happy coz of my little secret good deed.
What did you like most about yourself this year?
My confidence and guts. And being less passive.
What did you hate most about yourself this year?
When I learned to become less passive, I became judgmental, and I hate it.

Was 2006 a good year for you?
2006 has been my good year, full of opportunities and luck. There might have been bad things, but its too little compared to the good ones.

Batangas escapade.
Knowing more about butterflies.
Reuniting with my best friend Ej, and keeping in touch with my old friends.
What was your least favorite moment of the year?
The day I had to accept that uncle's not here anymore.

Do you have a new years resolution for 2007?
A lot, but to summarize things up, its: not to do the thing I know is wrong but do the thing I know that will make me glad. Defining good and bad is just in the mind.

Nope.

Getting a job right away.

If you could go back in time to any moment of 2006 and change something, what would it be?
I would have talked to my uncle more and I would have gone to Samar for my grandmother.
What are your plans for 2007?
Create more art, engage to a band, go back to a University, a business.
How are you different now that the year has ended?
I feel more like a braver woman.
What are your wishes for the new year?
I hope to write more, sing more, create more art.
I hope to keep all my resolutions.
I hope I could make a decision if I'll enter law school or not.
